Key design elements have been closely considered so as to meet tenants’ physical and social needs while minimising potential triggers (such as high noise levels, overcrowding and light sensitivity).
Additional home features include curated colour palette and design elements, sensory sound proofing and enhanced circulation space to support a calm, comfortable environment for participants.
Blue Gum offers comfort, independence and peace of mind for all tenants.
Rent Cost: The SDA funding in your NDIS plan will be paid to Good Housing. In addition, tenants will pay the ‘Reasonable Rent Contribution’, which is 25% of your Disability Support Pension (or equivalent), and 100% Commonwealth Rent Assistance.
SDA Design Category: This home has been specifically designed and tailored for Robust Design Category.
Eligibility: To apply for Blue Gum, tenants will need to have (or be likely to attain) NDIS funding for SDA Robust eligibility.
