Our first property in Sydney's South West, Banksia encompasses three 1-bedroom,  High Physical Support (HPS) villas and an adjoining 2-resident HPS and/or Improved Liveability villa, all designed to offer comfort, independence, and accessibility for our residents.

Designed with tenant comfort, independence, and safety in mind, Banksia features spacious, open floor plans, wide doorways and pathways, customizable kitchens and cabinetry, and external ramp access to ensure full wheelchair accessibility.

Bathrooms and private ensuites are designed to support high-level physical access and wheelchair mobility, with provisions for hand railings and ceiling hoists tailored to each tenant's needs and funding

Tenants at Banksia have the option to live independently (single occupancy) or alongside a housemate (shared occupancy), depending on their preferences and funding eligibility. All tenants have access to our nominated On-Site Support Provider, Northcott, with designated carer rooms located on-site.

As one of Australia’s largest and most trusted not-for-profit disability service organisations, Northcott provides empowering, personalised service to participants across metropolitan and regional locations throughout NSW.

Culminating over 90 years’ experience and expertise in the disability service industry, Northcott offers a diverse range of services and support provisions to over 13,500 people with disabilities, their families, and their carers each year.

Our dedicated tenant empowerment team is currently reviewing applications for Banksia's final independent villa, designed to meet the needs of HPS participants.

Due to limited vacancies, applicants will be assessed for eligibility and served on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply for Banksia, participants will need to be approved (or likely to be approved) for SDA funding (HPS or FA) in their NDIS plan.

Evidence of SDA approval should include a written letter from the NDIA stating: tenant eligibility for SDA funding, the total amount of funding you are eligible for, designated design category, and the SDA location you or your tenant is approved for.
